As a Community Manager you will:

  • Act as an ambassador for the community and collaborate with teams to develop strategy and implement activities to build your business
  • Develop the community and drive engagement with members by creating events, experiences, networking, press releases
  • Lead strategies and execute tactics that drive traffic and brand awareness for the digital products and channels of your region
  • Act as the front line for user support and complaints, help inquiries and more on social media
  • Analyse and report on learnings and insights from all aspects of social community to create actionable, operational reports that lead to optimization and efficiency
  • Constantly monitor social and community channels, enabling quality responses and engagement across all social platforms
  • Attend industry events and plan calendar of activities such as meetups and hackathons, 
  • Use Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve metrics through testing and new initiatives

Things we consider critical to be our Community Manager: 

  • Business-level fluency in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written) with excellent communication skills
  • Genuine interest in understanding people, capable of fostering connections by putting people first and building trusting relationships
  • Passionate about generously sharing our culture of goal setting, developing leaders and personal responsibility in the community
  • Highly fluent in Chinese and Western social media channels and community platforms such as Weibo, Telegram, Reddit, Twitter, LinkedIn, WeChat, etc.
  • Experience in FinTech, Finance, Banking, Payments or Startup culture with previous networking skills is a must
  • Solid content writing skills and can figure out the voice of a company that will resonate across a target audience
  • 8+ Years experience in community relations, PR, marketing, sales, brand management
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
  • Experience as a moderator or admin in a sub-Reddit, Telegram, or similar social media channels
  • Experience with Zendesk, Excel, Asana, Google Suite, Trello, and Slack
  • Knowledgeable about the Blockchain industry, landscape and competition
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related subject is an asset
  • Strong ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytics skills, able to interpret social media and website traffic
